Mindfully Crafted Jewelry
We create jewelry that will last, because so often, gold-plated or gold-filled pieces will fade or tarnish after a few months. While most jewelry is supposed to be taken off to shower, swim, or workout, Aligned Designs is waterproof, so you can sweat and swim with full goddess vibes. We achieve this by using materials made from durable (and hypoallergenic) stainless steel that has a PVD coating of 18-karat gold, which is a special plating process resulting in a strong, water-resistant finish.
Eco-Conscious & Purposeful
We love and respect nature and Mother Earth, so we’re committed to using natural materials within our jewelry (authentic gemstones) and packaging (reusable organic cotton pouches). Plus, for each item purchased, we’ll clean up a piece of trash off the beach.
About the Founder
Hi, I'm Martina Salling, the founder of Aligned Designs. My mission is to help women understand their worth and celebrate themselves.
After serving clients in the fitness and wellness industry for over 10 years, I found my way back to my passion for design and creativity. I was born with a love for fashion, playing with outfits and jewelry since I could walk. Creative play was natural for me as a kid, but when I was 12 years old, I was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition which redirected my focus towards health.
While I'm grateful for the wellness-focused lifestyle I've created, I eventually realized that something was missing. I wasn't having fun anymore, and I experienced burnout too many times. I easily slipped into patterns of putting my needs last, and forgot the importance of play and creativity.
A trip to Tulum, Mexico in 2023 re-inspired my love of fashion and my desire to create. As I stepped further into my divine feminine (goddess) essence, my physical health also improved. My next level of growth came from pouring back into myself- overhauling my wardrobe and making jewelry! Wearing the jewelry I made helped me to anchor in this energy, watching it glow and shine in the sun, reminding me that decorating myself is important.
My initial intention was just to create for myself, but I kept receiving requests to purchase my creations, so Aligned Designs was born and here we are!
